Hey maybe you could get a friend to draw that tree pattern for you (I am available to draw it for you if you like). Dyeing the fabric sounds like a solution that may work out nicely. As for the green trunk..........my gut says you are not liking that idea so much. If it were me I would add the green fabric to the stash (or make more leaves out of it........green just happens to be my favorite color and I use more of it than any other color). Maybe you should go with a brown trunk. I would love to see a picture of the project or the inspiration picture............and I am serious about drawing it for you.
